Departure from La Réunion the day before at 8:00 pm, arriving in Bangkok at 6:55 am. Transfer to your hotel. Free day and meals. Overnight at Vismaya Suvarnabhumi Hotel or similar.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Denpasar at 09:35, arrival at 14:55. Welcome by your local English-speaking guide, then transfer to your hotel in Ubud. Free afternoon and lunch. Overnight at Hotel Pertiwi Bisma II or similar.

Breakfast followed by a visit to the center of Ubud. Start with an hour-long morning stroll along the Tjampuhan Ridge road, one of Ubud's most remarkable paths. Stroll along the fields and enjoy panoramic views over the neighboring valleys to the Saraswati temple. Continue with a visit to Ubud's Royal Palace, built in the 16th century in the heart of the city. The palace is still home to the king of Ubud and the royal family. Free time at the Ubud market, brimming with food, local crafts and textiles. Lunch at a local restaurant and then a walk through the famous Monkey Forest, home to a large colony of long-tailed macaques. Return to your hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Pertiwi Bisma II or similar.

Breakfast. Departure with your guide and driver for Tampaksiring. The day begins with a beautiful walk at the bottom of a lush canyon. Discover the site of Gunung Kawi, also known as the "mountain of poems". The path follows a long staircase down to the bottom of a superb, deep valley, offering a lovely panorama of terraced rice paddies and coconut groves. Once at the bottom of the valley, you'll discover the rock-cut funerary monuments of an ancient Balinese ruler who reigned in the 11th century. Visit the Tirta Empul sanctuary: a sacred spring feeds a public bath. Continue northeast towards Mount Batur, arriving at the village of Kintamani with a stop at the lookout point offering superb views of the volcano and Lake Batur. Lunch in a panoramic restaurant. The discovery day ends with the Besakih temple, built at an altitude of almost 1000m. It's known as Bali's "Mother Temple". It is the most revered, the largest and the oldest on the island. Transfer to the fishing village of Amed and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Amed Seamount Hotel or similar.

Breakfast. This morning, board a Jukung, a small local fishing boat, and sail to the coral reef where you can swim and discover the underwater world (masks, snorkels and flippers will be provided). Return to hotel after snorkelling and lunch. In the early afternoon, departure for the fishing village of Lovina via the Tejakula road. Stop at Beji temple. Pura Beji is a Subak temple, dedicated to the spirit who looks after the irrigation and rice fields in Balinese culture. Arrive at your hotel in Lovina in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Pari Saron or similar.

Breakfast, then departure for the mountainous area to the north of Bali to reach the village of Munduk, ideal for outdoor activities. You'll have the opportunity to explore this area with a lovely 2-hour hike to the waterfalls. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to the hotel via the main road and stop off at the Banjar hot springs for some well-deserved relaxation. Rest of afternoon free. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel Pari Saron or similar.

Breakfast. Departure from Lovina for the Bedugu region. You'll first head for the shores of Lake Beratan, one of Bali's most beautiful volcanic lakes. Visit the lake temple of Pura Ulun Danu, which seems to float on the tranquil waters of the lake. Stop at the Candikuning market in the village of Bedugul, brimming with fruit and orchids. Continuation to the verdant Jatiluwih region, especially famous for its rice terraces of the same name, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a 1-hour walk through the rice fields of Jatiluwih awaits you. On this walk, you can watch the locals go about their daily ploughing activities. End your day at Tanah Lot sea temple: Bali's most famous temple. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the Parigata Resort & Spa hotel or similar.

Breakfast. Free morning and lunch. In mid-afternoon, your guide will take you on an excursion to the Bukit peninsula, where you'll visit Uluwatu temple perched on high cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean. At sunset, you'll be treated to a performance of the spectacular Kecak dance in Uluwatu's open-air theater. Transfer to Jimbaran resort for a seafood dinner grilled on the beach. Overnight at Hotel Parigata Resort & Spa or similar.

Breakfast. Free time until transfer to Denpasar airport. Flight to Bangkok at 4.55pm, arrival at 8.05pm. Transfer to the Royal Bangkok Chinatown hotel or similar.
